Flow Player : Web Movie Player

In this page we are using the Flow Player to demonstrate the ability to display movies that automatically follow each other in sequence. Great for showing lots of short films or, even better, a long film cut into chapters.

Flow player is a free player that takes little setup. It's handy to understand XHTML and perhaps a little familiarity with ActionScript and/or with Java style parameters is also helpful as it's necessary to edit the playlist and perhaps the parameters in the script that comes with the Flow Player to automatically feed our films into the player one after another.

Of course, we can change the size of the Flow Player. This page was designed around the two movies we had for display. The movie size dictated the size of the player rather than resize the movies.

In fact the player is slightly oversize to permit easy access to the controls. By default the Flow Player loops continuously. It can be set to play only once, if desired.

Immediately below is an embedded YouTube video of Johnny Cash. These ones are as easy as copying the embed code from YouTube.
